The historic Ballarò market in Palermo portrayed in a very personal way, where amongst the typical images of merchants are my closest friends and loved ones. Many of them are renowned professionals who have played the role of the classical characters of the market, including greengrocers and meusari (street vendors of bread with spleen); a great choreography of faces that seem to move in a riot of colour.
